Initially, only the two-door hardtops in the Chevrolet model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950 to 1952. With the 1953 model year, the Bel Air name was changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium level of trim applied across several body styles. It was called the “Hot One” in GM’s advertising campaign.
This beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a “frame off” restoration and is powered by a LS3 V8 engine, with a 4L65E automatic transmission. The car runs and drives like a modern car and options include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, Tilt Wheel, Am/Fm Radio, Posi Traction, Radial Tires and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels.
