The Monte Carlo was entered the marketed in 1970 as Chevrolets first two-door personal luxury model. The first- generation Monte Carlo came standard with a 350ci V-8 with an optional 400 or 454s on the SS models were available. General Motors had great success with the early Monte Carlo due to its stunning good looks and luxurious appeal. Many high-end options and trim packages were available, making the Monte Carlo an appealing mid-size option in the two-door market. This very clean Monte Carlo resto-mod.
