Found in dry and arid Arizona, this 58 Skyline is in great shape for an owner claimed original car. The paint isn’t mint, but very presentable, the interior is very serviceable with only the seat covers reported to have been replaced years ago. The car shows no evidence of rot, or major rust. The 352ci V8 fires up immediately and runs smooth! No smoke or the usual signs of fatigue. The transmission shifts well, and the non-powered steering and brakes work surprisingly well. The car drives in a manner that belies its age. Finished in white with a red interior, the car is quite the looker. The chrome presents well, and all the trim is there. The car is a time capsule! Of course, the roof is the star of the show with a Skyliner and yes, it’s in fully operational condition. This styling and engineering statement was a badge of honor for Ford when it debuted.
