Gateway classic cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1964 Mercury Park Lane. For the 1964 model year, the Park Lane made its return as Mercury expanded its model line. Coinciding with Mercury’s 25th Anniversary, the Park Lane again topped the Mercury line above the Monterey and newly reintroduced Montclair. Just 1,967 of the convertible variants were made this year, making this body style, one of the most exclusive in the lineup. Finished in ‘festival red’ color on the exterior, it goes great with the white vinyl interior. Both of which are in good condition. Under the hood you have the 390ci V8 that has been bored .30 over that is mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission. This Park Lane runs, stops and drives like it was 1964! The current owner has done plenty of work to make this car the way you see it today. Fresh battery, new electric fan, headers, brakes/hoses, exhaust system, 4 barrel Edelbrock carb just to name a few.
